The Inga Foundation which helps protect the environment by saving rain forest areas from slash and burn farming while ensuring local farmers have enough to eat and a sustainable lifestyle, has just seen the Royal Society publish the whole story of the science behind what Inga is doing in the world’s rainforests and the Land for Life Project itself that grew from that science.
The 361 year-old academic association, which is also the United Kingdom's national academy of sciences, has shared a study representing the years of work and effort that have been brought to this project. This very detailed study will enable you to discover why the Guama model is so important for our planet and for local Honduran farmers.
